A man cries on the casket of his brother inside the Coptic Hospital where many of those where killed were taken. A funeral mass and protest were held in central Cairo today for the victims of yesterdays attack. Families of those killed identified their dead and prepared them for burial.

A mixture Christians and Muslims protested against the Egyptian government and the Alexandria church bombing in Cairo’s northern suburb of Shubra. The protests were largely peaceful and at times grew to at least a few hundred participants. Shubra is known for having a large Christian population.
