In Cairo Egypt friends gather in Al-Azhar park overlooking the city to break their fast. They came on a trip sponsored by their employer the electricity ministry. Ramadan is a monthlong celebration marked by daily fasts from sunrise to sunset.

I went to the veggie stand beside my house and found my muse in a carrot. There is a nostalgia in the fact that you could only find these carrots in the developing world.

We had an assignment at a new hip restaurant in Miami. While shooting most of the time on the 5D MarkII I had enough time to pull out the Hasselblad.
