I am a freelance photographer working mainly for magazines and corporations while being represented by ZUMA press. I’ll be living in Cairo, Egypt for the foreseeable future and my houseboat will be the base for photographic adventures and hijinx.

2007 American Diversity Project Fellowship – A month documenting life in the Mississippi Delta.

Experience
St. Petersburg Times – Interned for six months at the paper of record for Florida. (2007)
Talisman Photo Editor – Lead 15 WKU photographers and two assistant editors in the creation of our 400+ page yearbook. (2006-2007 academic year)
Press-Enterprise – Interned at this 189,000-circulation daily covering news throughout the sprawling urban inland of Southern California. Found and completed a photo story on Lucha Libre wrestling.(Summer 2005)
Augusta Chronicle – Learned to shoot spot news, sports, and work as part of a team on breaking news. Found extra feature photos and made picture-packages out of assignments. (Summer 2004)
El Vocero Hispano – Worked as the only photographer for the largest Spanish-language newspaper in Michigan. Colaborated with writers on a few projects and covered the Benton Harbor riots. (Summer 2003)
