Barrios of Sonora, TX
My assignment was a scene setting essay on two Hispanic barrios, relics of a segregated past. In 2006 14 WKU students created a week long workshop to document life in a unique part of our country. For the first year we worked with the people of Sonora Texas to show the life of a border town where natural gas is king.
