Fighting occurred in the oil producing town of Brega between pro-Ghadafi forces and rebel fighters. Loyal planes bombed formations of rebel fighters in and around Braiga as reinforcements came from the nearby town of Ajdabiya. At least 14 wounded and 4 dead came to the Brega hospital
