A Day in Clarksdale

Last night as I moved around club champagne the thumping of music and DJ’s banter made the little hairs inside my ear hurt. Today as I stood in a row of cotton it was reassuring to hear the soft twit twit of birds in the distance.

This random collection of images comes from the last 24 hours as I followed Wade through the night shift at the local power plant, Mookie through a night of hip-hop, the Wright brothers as they cleared mare’s-tales from the field, and a dog, the closest willing subject as the sun went down.

Thanks to my new friends who are showing me the way.
