This is the first of three posts that I shot around South Florida on a disposable camera.
Before I shot this photo I had pre-visualised those branches, I just remembered that it came from Christian Hansen’s “We stopped at perfect days” essay.
I bought the high-end Kodak HD with flash. Each came with 27 pictures on a 800 speed roll.
The cameras are small, light, and simple to use, but at night their flash is weak and they must have really quick shutter speeds because there was more than enough evening light to fill in the background in this and other images like it. The camera seems to just use and abuse films latitude to get something that can be printed.
