Microsoft Photo Competition

Many WKU students submitted photos for Apple’s Insomnia Photo Contest but yesterday while reinstalling Windows XP, now almost a quarterly ritual, I ran across Microsoft’s version of a student photo competition.

It is a similar student centric competition but looks far less strenuous almost pathetic in comparison to the professionalism that Apple’s competition called for. Even though Ron Haviv isn’t going to be judging a quick look at the prizes convinced me to drop in 3 of my favorite photos.

It is ironic but I bet any photography student that wins the high end Dell laptop will immediately sell it and plunk the proceeds down for a shiny Macbook Pro.
