DVAPhoto – A hodgepodge of news and highlighting work all around photography.
Feature Shoot – Sets of art photography.
Foto 8 – Their RSS feed isn’t working right but they publish some good photojournalism.
Light Test – Comedic light tests and assistent stand-ins

Conscientious – A fine-art photography blog with some nice work. I go here to see a truly different set of photographs than my normal photojournalism roots.
Panos Pictures – My favorite agency recently updated their website with a prominent position for the blog. It is worth perusing their archive also.
Pangea Photo – Photo collective, posting award winning photojournalism work
VII Magazine - Freaking beautiful photos and a really nice set of essays. Unfortunately it isn’t updated as often as I’d like. Maybe VII needs to grow a bit more.
Luceo Images – Young upstart agency, though very experienced
We Are MJR – Upstart collective that often works for the big three papers
Razon Collective – Really smart photographers that shoot with their own style.
Magnum Photos – Old agency, best of the best
Magnum InMotion – Multimedia pieces from Magnum
Redux Pictures – Quality agency but they don’t put up much good work on their blog
Noor Images – They don’t have a blog, but they are my favorite photographers
TIME Magazine – Photoessays, always interesting sometimes stunning
Wall Street Journal – They post a lot of images on this blog from some hot young photographers
LA Times Frameworks – This is the newest photo blog amongst the big newspapers so we will see where it goes.
Boston’s Big Picture – Sets of pictures pulled off the major wires. It’s a good place to look after a major event to get a well rounded view.
NPR’s Picture Show – They offer a surprising level of quality and some real standout essays.
NYTimes Lens Blog – One of the better photo blogs out there.
Foreign Policy Magazine – These guys publish some of the most interesting photo essays out there. Thanks that we would otherwise never see.
LIFE magasine – A predictably quality set of photos from the early master of photojournalism.
Rearview Mirror – A magazine of really nice photo essays. The mass of photos is under gallery. It’s a bit loosely edited but nice to look at something new.
Foam International Photography – I just found this photo magazine but it publishes the photos of some of my friends so I automatically like it.
Visual Student – One of the best blogs that tilts towards the newspaper industry.
Photo Column – Another blog that helps focuses on the best photos and photo stories published in newspapers.
Newspaper Twitter Feeds – A well curated list of newspaper and agency feeds on twitter.
BBC Photo Blog – Viewfinder blog, I’m Phil Coomes, picture editor and photographer for the BBC News website. This is my blog where I’ll be exploring the world of photojournalism, photos in the news and BBC News’ use of photographs, including those by our readers.

The 37th Frame – This is another site that tries to gather all the popular photojournalism sites and stories into one blog. It’s links to stories from BURN and other of the best photojournalism stories.
Social Documentary – Some high quality essays coming out of emerging photojournalists from around the world. As the title suggests these are photo essays that focus on Social Documentaries.
