On my flight back into Cairo I was a little more aware than usual of how much we take technology for granted.  The ability to skip across the atmosphere from one side of the globe to the other is a noteworthy feat.  If we were more impressionable we would spend the whole time just gripping our arm-rests and trying to comprehend the speed.
